JAEGER RIFLE

The German Jaeger rifles originated as sporting weapons for upper class German foresters and huntsmen. They were first used by the British in the Americas during the French & Indian War when at least 12 were carried into action during the Battle of Monongahela in 1755. Both British and German soldiers utilized the short, effective, Jaeger in significant numbers. The British even produced their own copy of the German Jaeger and sent over 1,000 to the colonies during the conflict. Our reproduction Jaeger rifle makes this important piece of military history available to the shooter or reenactor as an affordable price.
