We have a great new line of powder horns that exhibit the traits and features of authentic examples used during the Fur Trade period. Each horn style is inspired from museum pieces. The base plugs, spouts and finials are all hand-turned from hardwood and each horn is thoroughly polished and includes a strap.

Powder Horn with Measuring Spout

Here we have our base model powder horn with 60 grain measuring spout. The horn measures 10" 1/2 around the curve and comes with a leather strap. Add a different measure to use with all of your muzzleloaders.

This is our very top quality Scrimshaw-able powder horn. This horn is proper for The French and Indian Wars period. The horn comes complete the a top quality hand weaved, beeswax coated strap made by our good friend Lynn Blevens, The Weaving Welshman. This polished horn features a hand-turned base plug and wooden plug. This horn is all ready to Scrimshaw being mainly white and beautifully carved at the top. This horn is 9" overall.
