Bootstrap Bills Knife

We were asked to replicate Bootstrap Bills knife for Capt'n Turner and realized that it is something that many a fine Pirate would like to have in their sash so now we are offering the knife to all. Here's the knife that cut out William Turners heart and made him Capt'n of once Davey Jones ship. This Hand Forged knife is sure to please the most honorable as well as the most despicable of ye Pirates. Blackened finish Carbon Steel blade with re-enactors edge and a blackened Walnut pinned handle just as Bootstrap's knife was. This knife is approximately 9" long but will vary from blade to blade as we hand forge these ourselves

This is our new Early pattern British Naval Boarding Axe Tomahawk with Hickory handle. Prized by many a Pirate and Buccaneer as it was issued to all British Naval crew members so as a Pirate if you had one you likely won it in battle. It has the same great balance and handles as well as all of our throwing tomahawks do. This axe is properly stamped with the British broad arrow stamp as most British Naval Boarding axes would of had.  This axe weighs in at about 1 pound with a blackened finish and is 19" long Hickory handle, Blade edge to the back of the haft is about 7" with a 2 1/2 inch wide blade. Danish Boarding Axe

Circa 1675

Demark provides the historian and reenactor with the earliest dated 1675 and most lavishly stamped example of an early boarding axe. This Danish axe is dated 1675 with 3 crowns and cartouches on each side with "C5" ( for King Christian V) as an original would be and our proof mark hidden below the spike. The overall length is 28", from blade tip to spike end is aprox 9 7/8 with a weight of around 1 3/4 pounds

This is our New French Boarding Axe/Tomahawk. copied from an original in the collection of axes held by the Florida Archaeological Research Department.  With its size it is a formidable weapon and throws just as well as all of our other throwing tomahawks. Color case hardened Carbon steel head. This Axe has some heft behind it to boot coming in at about 2 pounds. The blade length from the haft is about 4 inches and overall length from blade edge to spike tip is 9" 1/2, the spike to the haft is about 3 3/4", blade width of 3 7/8 inches. Straight grained Hickory handle sealed and finished.

Swedish Boarding Axe Pistol

As seen in William Gilkersons Boarders Away the Swedish Boarding Axe Pistol circa 1703 - 1709 but the Doglock lock dates back to the mid 17th century. This Boarding Axe Pistol boasts a 80 caliber barrel and we are making these only under special order. The blade edge in 9" and edge to spike tip is 9" 1/2. The overall length of this piece is 33"1/2 inches and is quite the formidable weapon. You will not find these elsewhere as they are made exclusively by us and only under special order.

A nice combination of Surf and Turf. Pieces like these were made for battle and this piece is completely battle ready. This sword weighs 3 pounds overall with pistol mounted and has a 25" unsharpened Carbon Steel blade and is 31" overall and an Elk handled grip. It boasts a .41 caliber fully firing drilled and tapped pistol to the blade and would complete any Pirate or Buccaneer attire. Circa 1700 - 1800

This is our new English Cutlass/Sabre as seen in George C Neumans  "Swords & Blades of the American Revolution. It is forged right here in our shop and has a battle ready Carbon Steel blade that is 26" long stamped with our makers mark and has a blood groove running almost the full length of the blade. The sword had a steel guard with an Elk handle and is 31" 1/4 overall. This blade is perfect for any persona from 1700 forward. No scabbard included

This is our new early American Naval Boarding Axe Tomahawk. This is our earliest version of the axes made for our new American Navy based on examples from William Gilkersons book Boarders Away. This Boarding axe of the period is simply marked "US" Its a fine looking and working Tomahawk head that throws as well as it looks. The spike on this model is just as sharp as the blade. The Boarding axe handle is 19" long and stocked in Ash with a blackened blade. Blade to tip is 9" 1/4 with a 2" 1/2 blade edge. You will love this hawk.

 American Toothed Tomahawk Boarding Axe with Langets

Some of the first American Boarding Axes that came out here in the US in the late 1790s and this example is as it is seen in Willam Gilkersons Boarders Away with proper US stamp as on all American Boarding axes of the period and also marked VIM the mark of John McLean who served as Commissary of Military Stores for the state of NY. Its fine looking and working Tomahawk head that is sure to stay in place with 8" removable Langets. The spike on this model is just as sharp as the blade. Boarding axe handle is 19" long and stocked in Curly Maple. Blade to tip is 9" 1/4 with a 2" 1/2 blade edge. You will love this hawk.
